MADDIE ZAHM unveils a new song relaese "Eightball Girl"

Maddie Zahm opens a new chapter with "Eightball Girl," the third single from her upcoming debut album, "Now That I've Been Honest." Centered on the ambiguity of a new kind of romantic feeling, the personal, playful track offers another glimpse into the world Zahm is creating with her highly anticipated debut full-length release.

"Eightball Girl," written by Madeleine Marie Zahm, Deza, and John Thomas Roach and produced by Zahm and Adam Yaron, captures the rollercoaster of emotions that can come with falling for someone and not knowing where those feelings could go. The song draws on a personal moment for Zahm: the first love song she wrote about a girl.

The core of the track is about turning uncertainty into fun. The "magic eightball" idea became a fun way to capture whether those feelings would be returned, giving the song its own personality while keeping its emotional heart intact. It also has a catchy hook that, instead of running from its catchiness, leans into it, delivering the latest taste of "Now That I've Been Honest" with an infectiousness befitting its lighthearted concept.

The accompanying music video, directed by Gus Black, adds a visual element to the release and completes this latest chapter in Zahm's rollout to her debut album.
