The Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" is officially back in the limelight. The official images are now out for the highly anticipated Jordan release, slated to drop December 12th for $235, marking the first return of the iconic high-top "Space Jam" retro in 10 years.
Jordan Brand is looking to ride the 30th anniversary of Space Jam, adding another layer of meaning to the 2026 return for longtime fans and collectors. The movie turns 30 this November, making this year a particularly notable moment for one of the most recognizable Air Jordan designs tied to the film.
The sneaker sticks close to the formula that made the original so memorable. Black patent leather wraps the toe and lower sides, with black mesh above. Canvas features on the lace loops and the upper stays true to the familiar Space Jam aesthetic. Blue accents highlight the Jumpman logos on the heel and tongue, while a white midsole and icy blue outsole finish the look.
The retro features several details that give it unmistakable collector's appeal. The tongue reads "JUMPMAN JAM," and an embroidered "23" sits on the heel. The pairs are also rumored to be arriving in the Michael Jordan face box, adding another distinct element to the drop.
The 2026 "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 will come in a full family size run. Adult pairs will retail for $235, grade school sizes will sell for $190, and little kids' sizes will cost $105. The shoe's style code is CT8012-900, and it will release on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers.
Holiday Air Jordan 11 releases are always highly anticipated, and the combination of the beloved "Space Jam" colorway and the film's anniversary makes this return even more special. December 12th's release gives fans who have been waiting since the last drop in 2016 another chance to re-experience one of the most beloved Jordan 11 designs.
The "Space Jam" 11 has made multiple comebacks over the years, but it's its connection to Michael Jordan's starring role in the 1996 movie that cements its place in history. This release is part of the anniversary celebrations, and they will continue beyond it. Jordan Brand is said to be releasing a "Green Screen" Air Jordan 11 inspired by the Monstars. Tyler Reddick's Monstars NASCAR car has also been spotted celebrating the same 30th anniversary.
