Brooklyn-based music project VOXMANA is back with "La Marea," a deeply introspective new song that looks inward before reaching out to something much larger. The piece by Brazilian-American violinist Andrei Matorin and Argentine singer-songwriter Natalia Clavier is a journey of transformation, movement, and the freedom of surrendering to life's natural flow.
Natalia Clavier and Andrei Matorin wrote "La Marea", with Matorin also producing it, and it's about the idea of releasing the constraints created by the ego and opening ourselves to a broader sense of universal consciousness. "La Marea" encourages the listeners to imagine themselves traveling through time and space, exploring new realms of awareness.
"Letting go is really the subject of "La Marea." The song contemplates what happens when we stop fighting life's natural flows and choose to flow with them instead. That surrender is a kind of freedom, opening space to reconnect with something beyond the individual self. "La Marea" is a mindful celebration of life's essence, built on the powerful idea that sometimes freedom begins when we let ourselves flow.
