Home Counties Discover A New Kind of Freedom On "Bethnal Green"

London-based post-punk band Home Counties, which is made up of Will Harrison on vocals, guitar and keys, Lois Kelly on vocals and keys, Conor Kearney on guitar and vocals, Dan Hearn on the drums, Barn Peiser Pepin on synth, percussion, guitar and vocals, and Bill Griffin on the bass and vocals, is opening another door in their sound with "Bethnal Green," a new track that embraces a different side of their musical identity.

Home Counties wrote "Bethnal Green," and Conor Kearney produced it. It expands what the band is willing to explore, letting them move into territory that feels different from what listeners might traditionally associate with their post-punk identity. The Home Counties use the track to test the limits of their sound. The result is a release that is playfully creative yet still connected to the band's personalities and collaborative spirit.

"Bethnal Green" expands the band's musical palette. With Kearney behind the production and all six members helping create the track, Home Counties show that experimentation can come from giving an unexpected idea room to develop. It's a fascinating new step for a band clearly unafraid to redefine what belongs in their world.
