JULUS BRAVE emerges with a new release titled " Nothing to talk about"

New York City-based singer-songwriter Jules Brave is back with "Nothing To Talk About," a new release that embodies the intimate, homegrown spirit of making music during a unique time of isolation. The new song follows her June collaboration with Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter David Francisco, "If You Should Fall In Love," and is her second solo single of the year, following "Text My Mom" in 2023's next chapter of Brave releases.

"Nothing To Talk About' was created during COVID, Brave laid down the vocals for the song in her New York City apartment, giving the track an intimate origin. The bridge contains vocal stacks from Brave's friends, all recording from their own homes. The recording process brought a sense of community to the project.

The track is a creative image of a time when physical distance changed how people connected, collaborated, and created art together. The song is a particularly meaningful backdrop to the layers of voices, making a solitary recording environment something shared.

"Nothing To Talk About" is a product of a time when bedrooms, apartments and living rooms became studios, and collaboration had to take place remotely. The odd creative landscape became part of the song itself for Jules Brave, making this latest release feel like a document of connection made in unexpected circumstances.
