Inhaler strikes emotional gold on their new song “If You’re Gonna Break My Heart”

Irish rock band Inhaler reinforces with "If You're Gonna Break My Heart." via Polydor Records, the artist released the track as the third single from her second full-length album, "Cuts & Bruises," and it is a bold mix of openness, songwriting, and classic rock flair.

Inhaler, comprised of Elijah Hewson, Robert Keating, Josh Jenkinson, and Ryan McMahon, release a more introspective, adult sound on this one. Set around an elaborate yet simple piano-driven arrangement, the slow-burning track oscillates between personal and stadium-ready compositional characteristics. The band is atmospheric, letting each instrument exhale into the emotional weight of the song.

A collaboration with band members and producer Antony Genn, the single marks a clear artistic growth. The song carries a classic spirit in its DNA, rooted in the work of American legends like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and The Band. While you can hear that influence through the song's rich instrumentation and passionate delivery, Inhaler certainly owns the sound.
