Kevin Gates Set To Pay Dreka Gates $1 Million Combined for Catalog Sales and Child Support.

Kevin Gates is facing another significant financial obligation in his ongoing legal separation from Dreka Gates. According to TMZ, a judge has ordered the rapper to direct a portion of proceeds from his music catalog sales toward payments to his estranged wife, including support payments and several associated expenses.

The ruling adds another chapter to the former couple's separation, which has continued to attract attention as their personal lives have changed over the years. Although many once expected Kevin and Dreka to remain together, the pair eventually went their separate ways. Kevin also made headlines in 2025 after marrying Brittany Renner, a relationship that proved short-lived.

Under the arrangement, Dreka is set to receive $929,341.50 for child support and spousal support. She will also receive an additional $150,000, bringing the two specified payments to more than $1 million combined.

The financial arrangement also covers several professional expenses related to the proceedings. Dreka's lawyers are set to receive $125,000 in attorney fees, while her accountant will receive $100,000. An additional $103,000 is designated for a third-party mediation service.

These allocations show the range of financial obligations the ruling covers. Rather than limiting the arrangement to payments between the former couple, the order also accounts for legal representation, accounting services, and mediation expenses.

The money will be handled through a designated financial account. According to the report, Robert Bracy, Breadwinner Alumni's chief financial officer, will manage the Morgan Stanley account into which the funds must be deposited. William Duerksen, a public accountant, has also been authorized to access the account.

The arrangement outlines what will happen to the proceeds and who will oversee the account, providing a structure for managing the payments associated with the court's decision.

Kevin will also receive a substantial amount under the reported terms. The rapper is set to receive $538,798 upfront, followed by monthly payments of $225,000 beginning in October. These provisions establish a separate payment structure for him alongside the amounts designated for Dreka and the professionals involved.

The ruling comes as Kevin continues navigating the financial and legal consequences of his separation from Dreka. Their relationship has drawn public interest, particularly as the rapper's personal life has evolved and his marriage to Renner drew attention in 2025.

While the figures provide a clearer picture of the financial arrangement, the order's most notable aspect is how it directs proceeds from the music catalog. Revenue generated from Kevin's musical work will help fund the payments specified in the ruling, including support for Dreka and expenses related to the proceedings.

For both parties, the decision establishes a significant financial framework as their separation continues to be addressed through the courts. The reported arrangement also highlights how revenue from an artist's catalog can become central to a high-profile personal legal dispute.
