LA-based singer-songwriter Laura Pergolizzi, better known as LP, turns the messy business of love into something vast, emotional, and grand, with no apologies in "Long Goodbye." The track is the fourth single from her forthcoming seventh studio album, "Love Lines."
LP wrote the song with Andrew Berkeley Martin of Palaye Royale, Ashton Irwin of 5 Seconds of Summer, and GRAMMY-nominated producer-songwriter Matthew Pauling. Matthew Pauling also produced the track. The track explores the difficult space between knowing a relationship has to end and still carrying the weight of everything it meant.
LP's upcoming album, "Love Lines," has just gained another charged chapter with the new preview track "Long Goodbye." The song is a dramatic farewell to the relationships that mattered and a reminder that sometimes the hardest goodbye is the one you make for the future.
