Bellah Mae crafts six raw, unfiltered tales of heartbreak on "With All Due Disrespect"

Bellah Mae, a British singer-songwriter, launches a new chapter with her debut EP, "With All Due Disrespect." This six-track collection follows the confusing emotions left behind after a breakup. The project moves through shades of hurt, frustration, self-reflection, humor, and the importance of putting yourself first.

Bellah Mae's 17 minutes and 42 seconds turn personal experiences into songs that feel direct and relatable. The EP kicks off with "Boyfriend Of The Year," a song that came together quickly after Bellah Mae and Josh tried out ideas around a chorus line she'd kept in her notes app. Her choice to pull from her own life has clearly struck a chord, with fans opening up about their own relationship stories after hearing the song.

"Feels Like You Died" captures the weight of losing someone who is still physically here. Meanwhile, "On Purpose (For My Future Daughter)" turns pain into a reminder to love one's self-worth, imagining what she would want for her future daughter and her younger self. "Drama King" continues the project's candid relationship commentary and critiques controlling, possessive behavior.

"Mr. Hypocrite" explores the double standards Bellah Mae encountered regarding friendships and dating. The EP ends with "Date Your Dad," the funniest song and a playful conclusion to a project steeped in messy feelings.

Produced by Alex Stacey, Jordan Riley, Kingdoms, Paul Meehan, and RISC, "With All Due Disrespect" presents Bellah Mae as a songwriter unafraid to look at heartbreak from many angles. She takes six tracks and blends exposure, frustration, reassurance, and humor, turning difficult relationship experiences into something personal, expressive, and widely relatable for a debut.
