ONE OK ROCK explores the gaming world with their song "Make It Out Alive"

Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK is stepping into a new arena with "Make It Out Alive," a high-impact new song written for the upcoming action role-playing video game Monster Hunter Now. The release is another exciting chapter for the band, connecting their rock-driven identity to the immersive world of one of gaming's most recognizable action franchises.

The group ONE OK ROCK is made up of Takahiro Moriuchi on vocals and rhythm guitar, Toru Yamashita on guitar, Ryota Kohama on bass, Tomoya Kanki on drums adds a full-band flavor to the song. "Make It Out Alive" sounds like it belongs in a place where action is the priority and intensity, momentum, and a sense of movement are part of the experience.

Kane Churko, Takahiro Moriuchi, and Jamil Kazmi wrote the song. Churko and Jordan Fish produced it. That creative lineup merges different perspectives in the background while still maintaining ONE OK ROCK at the core of the release.

This is why "Make It Out Alive" is so interesting, as it expands ONE OK ROCK's music beyond the boundaries of a traditional standalone release. Paired with Monster Hunter Now, the song has a very obvious purpose, marrying the band's sound to a game built around action and adventure.
