Russian melodic metal band Decadence Dust is back after a two-year hiatus with "Lighthouse," a dramatic track that marks a new chapter for the band. The song, led by creative directors Anna Vashchilo and Aleksander Kargaev, sets the tone for their upcoming full-length album and shows a group hell-bent on coming back with a bang.
The track's biggest asset is its atmosphere. It was recorded at Slaughtered Studio in Russia and produced by Decadence Dust. "Lighthouse" features heavy instrumentation and melodic depth, with a cinematic feel, and the video adds another layer, featuring visuals by Anna Vashchilo, Mikhail Isupov, and Vasily Vlasenko.
Decadence Dust knows their audience and delivers intensity, emotion, and a sense of identity. "Lighthouse" is more of a survival statement than a comeback. This is a powerful return that proves the band has a whole lot of creative firepower left.
