Ash Olsen’s turns ''Low'' emotional collapse into cinematic sound

Following on from the success of her 2023 debut single "In Too Deep," Ash Olsen comes right back atcha with her second drop, "Low," an emotional track exploring that narrow space between love and disaster. Written/ Produced alongside Malte Høglund, aka Copenhagen DJ and two-time award-winning producer Blasé Boys Club, "Low" features an uncomplicated yet powerful approach to musical storytelling.

The track is written from an intensely personal place, trying to help someone get out of a no-man 's-land in their mental health and creative development, while also realizing the emotional toll such care takes, and in how vague those lines between wanting to help and getting worn out can become.

"Low" is the feeling of two people in a relationship falling apart together, each aware that things are not working, but continuing to mirror each other's negative directions, creating a self-reinforcing cycle. Also accompanying the release is a visual filmed on the streets of Los Angeles, giving it a rugged, down to earth feel that aligns with the emotional weight of the song and further emphasizes its themes of instability."
